Wasn’t sure what to expect from this beer, but for a lager it was pretty nice. Incredibly easy to drink, entertains the tongue in all the right places for a lager. Would be great alongside some grub. Not sure I’d pay this much again for 22 ounces of lager, though. Nice tight head with a light citrus flavor. Overall mild flavor with a smooth mouth feel. Bier brauen (212), Bremerton, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 15, 2008 To me, it’s not much more going on than a grainy, dry taste. No yummy bready taste, no wonderful yeasty aroma. Just grain. Not the best lager, and definitely not a pilsner in my book. Elizavyeta (110), Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Light orange with almost no head has an aroma like that of wheat and citrus, with a touch of smoke.
Flavor is light and bread-like with a short, clean, and yeasty finish. Certainly not the most complex beers, but a good candidate for along side a meal or just by itself at the end of a long week.
Pair with a lighter, creamy Robiola or possibly even a triple creme with pears and tart apples. WallyWalrus (205), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 15, 2008 22oz bottle. Pours a clear straw color with a good white head. Aroma is largely earthy, with aromas of corn, malt, and yeast alongside a slight sweet note of hops. Taste is fairly full for a lager and creamy, with a neutral taste of malty breadiness and corn with maybe a slight twinge of hops. Amazingly inoffensive. BDR (2154), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 14, 2008 Pale color with white head. Standard grainy aroma with a little citrus. Light bread flavored body. Skyview (4018), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 13, 2008 Sampled during Cellar’s weekly beer tasting in St Paul, Minnesota. Pours a semi-clear golden pale brew with an average white head that quickly dissipates to a white ring. Aroma of light bready malt, some citrus zest and a touch of green vegetable. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of semi-sweet bread malt, some citrus zest, and a touch of dry yeast. Finish has a semi-sweet citrus aftertaste that quickly disappears after the finish. Irish style beer? Not sure, but still a drinkable session brew. sawyej26 (18), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA
