Smells...bad....tastes ok though. Hazy gold color with moderate head. Pretty bland, but nothing bad about the flavor. This is one you could drink a lot of without feeling full

22 oz. bottle. not much of a smell to speak for. this beer was almost "white" and it had flakes floating around in the beer (not sure if they were to be there or not). this beer was very drinkable. kind of reminded me of weak iced tea. I’m going to say that this is a good buy for a lager. pretty good beer.

22 oz. bomber bottle. pours a golden color with a one finger head. brown flakes floating throughout the glass. not much smell but pleasant with a hint of honey. taste is like a very well made macro minus all of the adjuncts. highly drinkable. dry cracker like finish.

From a 22 ounce bomber. Pours light amber into the glass with about a 1" head. Some lacings. I paid about $3.49 US for the bottle. Slightly fruity aroma. Tastes like a high quality macro with a little bit more character. A good session beer, but most micro drinkers will be dissapointed. I would say this compares well with some of the bigger name European beers.

Almost a craftbrew version of the macros. Pours almost like a macro, looks almost like a macro, smells almost like a macro...in fact the only thing distinguishing this from a macro is the taste and price. Tastes better, with more hops, a cleaner taste, and a bit of malt. But, the taste doesn’t justify the price. I’m sure they got what they were trying to, but, why not aim higher?

Pours golden with a fluffy white head. Light grainy aroma, with just a hint of sweetness, and some grassy hops buried in there somewhere. Flavor is as expected, light grainy sweetness, slight grassy/soapy hops towards the finish, and just a bit of sour green apple. Not crisp like the label states, but like an apple that’s been out on the counter for a few days. Palate is light/medium, soft, and a bit creamy. Not great, but all things considered, it’s well balanced, and fairly solid for the style. Though, as with all Rogue brews in my experience, it’s overpriced, and just barely worth it. Their labels do kinda suck you in though.

Hmmm. When rating a beer like this its hard to remember to consider the style. Overall i would say this brew sucked but when factoring in the style they are going for, id say not bad.

Jesse James went to Vegas and among other things....he brought back this. Cheers! Pours pale golden with a solid two finger froth. Good hangtime reducing slowly to a fluffy downy canopy. Aromas of grainy malts. Full nectar with good carbonation. The texture is cotton. A big malty backbone supports the hive as a mild spicey character emerges. A pleasant malty sweetness with nuances of hay, honey, vanilla, citrus, and aged apple. On the bottle it says crisp apple finish. I would say more like aged, soft apple finish. Like an apple that is partially dehydrated and going south yet still defined. This is not a bad thing, just not crisp. The finish a bittered mildly.
