Pale straw yellow, hazy, moderate white head that thins fairly quickly. Aroma of pale malt, hint of pear. Pale malt flavour, a little orchard fruit (apples, pears), fairly light bodied. Pretty unremarkable, but decent.

Good beer. I’m not big on Irish ales, but I enjoyed this one a lot. I don’t know how true it is to the style, but it is an well-balanced brew that is extremely drinkable.

Light golden pour with a big fluffy white head. Smell is of light malt, tart apple juice like yeast. Very, very light bodied, with a somewhat tart flavor of apples, light breadiness, and pale lager like malt. Easy drinking, smooth with a quick, clean finish with basically no detectable bitterness, but nothing to write home about.
If you have to pay $5.50 a bomber for it where you live too, I’d wait for a day when your girlfriend is being really generous and decides to buy it for you, as I did, because I can think of many better beers for the price. (but thank you honey)

22oz bottle. Served ~46° in a flared pint glass. Light malt/bready aroma with some herbal and floral hops notes. Later on the acid malt reveals itself. Pleasant aroma. Golden color, brilliant clarity. Two fingered head at first drops down to one finger. Active carbonation. Taste is clean, bready malt with a touch of honey followed by earthy, herbal hops and a balanced finish. A little tartness, but not too much. There seems to be a touch of sulfur in the finish. Easy to drink. Would I ever buy again? Not a chance in the expensive 22oz, but on tap for $3, maybe.

Hazy yellow color, not much head. A bit sweet nose, apple-like notes. Soft, fruity beer, wheat gives some banana flavors. Short finish with some apple in it. Where is Ireland in this? Unique lager.

Bottled@SBWF2007. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is hops, malts and some harsh grassyness. Flavour is the same, with even more grassnyess and some woodenness.

Bomber: Pours almost a medium gold with light yellow and green in the background, a foamy white head that always had a ring, fragrances of pilsner malt and faint bread, some grass aroma, light malt flavor and a citrus bitterness on the palate, the faint malt sweetness is run over by a smooth hop bitterness, a little lemon and faint dough-bread flavors, nice mouth feel for a lager, good crisp tartness in the finish that leaves the mouth dry, I thought the hop bitterness in this was stronger then the other premium lagers I have had.
