fro2218 (466), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Sep 27, 2007 A little watery and bland. A little malt peeking out. Nothing special here. Not realy sure why it is called and irish style lager. carboloader (318), Houston, Texas, USA Sep 24, 2007 Pours pale yellow with medium sized white head that dissipates quickly. Some carbonation bubbles. Tastes of citrus and melon, crisp and smooth -- tasty for a lager, a style I usually avoid. Easy to chug. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 24, 2007 Golden with minimal head. Aroma was bready malts, crackers and some grain. Malty and somewhat lacking in hop presence. Simple lager but nothing special. Not sure why its an irish syle, pelicanfleck (15), Oregon, USA Sep 13, 2007 A - The appearance was a darker amber color. The head on it was very good and left little lacing.
S - The aroma was very inviting and I enjoyed the scent.
T - Taste is where I think that this brew stands out. I have never been to Ireland, but my wife has, and she tasted the brews there and said that it resembles the Irish Lagers there.
M - With the mouthfeel here I would have to say that is was more hoppy than I am used too, I am a cream ale man myself.
D - The drinkablity of this brew is one that I could have every day and never get tired of it.
In closing, this is the type of brew that you would drink, while sitting on the beach just as the sun was going down...or while smoking a pipe. Also I have the honor of living 20 miles away from the Rogue Brewery. Headbanger (1574), Aurora, Illinois, USA Sep 12, 2007 22oz bomber-Golden body with anice white head and an aroma of grains. Taste of hops with a nice dryness but otherwise nothing to write home about. Not bad. blindeyedbetty (148), Arlington, Virginia, USA Sep 10, 2007 Bomber pour yields an apricot-marigold orange colored beer with large white fluffy head that quickly dissipates but leaves the impression of a very carbonated beer as evidenced by the champagne-like bubbles breast stroking their way to the top. The smell is weak but faintly crisp - similar to that of an early spring fruit blossom. The flavor is of a tight green grass in early spring at the beginning, spreading into a wheaty middle and finishing with a mild tang. This is an easy beer to drink and would be great on one of the first warm afternoons of the spring. It’s not a hearty one, but a bit weaker than I expected for an Irish style anything, and especially from Rogue, but still pretty decent for $4.25/bomber. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Irish Lager

golden, frothy white head, slightly sweet crisp malt aroma, sweet malt flavor, hint of carmel, just enough hops to balance without any sign of bitterness

mikey (336), farmington, Utah, USA Aug 30, 2007 Poured a clear gold/orange with a crisp off white head. The nose had an apple fruityness to it. The taste was sharp and crisp with slight oak and apple notes with a dry hop finish. A decent beer, i liked the dryness but not my favorite.
