Aug 30, 2007 Poured a clear gold/orange with a crisp off white head. The nose had an apple fruityness to it. The taste was sharp and crisp with slight oak and apple notes with a dry hop finish. A decent beer, i liked the dryness but not my favorite.

Aug 20, 2007 Cloudy orange-gold with good white head / Clean grain and honey nose / Medium body, fizzy, with sweet, good finish / Flavors of apples, honey and grain, with very sweet finish / A good beer burdened by excessive carbonation and maybe a tad too much sweetness.

Jul 26, 2007 Pours a clear gold with white head. Aroma of earthy malts and yeast. Taste is light and heavily carbonated. Taste has a tight grassy flavor that is well balanced and finished well with hops. Not really a lot to this beer, but not bad.

Jul 24, 2007 Updated: Aug 21, 200722oz. bottle. Relatively slight aroma of grainy, lightly sweet, pale malts and touches of grassy, spicy hop, some very faint berryish fruitiness and flowers. Clear light-medium golden color with plenty of visible carbonation feeding a persistent head. Flavor is likewise gently sweet and predominantly malty, with some cereal qualities noted along with a light-moderate amount of bitterness that comes in about midpoint, finishing a touch more fruity and peppery, but only very gently so. Effervescent and clean on the palate with a medium body. Even outside of the lack of conformity to the mental picture I had before tasting it, this stuff is still lacking in character considering where it comes from.

Jul 20, 2007 In a five ounce plastic cup during a Rogue Ales tasting at Capitol Convenience in Concord, N.H., U.S.A. I hated the way it looked. It was very yellow. But the taste compensated for the way it looked. I enjoyed the flavor. It was smooth and clean and very satisfying. I bought a larger bottle so I can enjoy it under more relaxed circumstances.
