| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Bottle. Malt has a straw aroma while there is a light smell of grass for the hops and there are moderate note of dough and leather for the yeast. Head is a frothy white with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is a clear light yellow. Mild acidic to start and a bit bitter in the short finish. Palate is light, watery with a lively carbonation. Not much else to speak of except that it’s light enough to have quite a few. ChainGangGuy (2549), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 4, 2007 I’m just so wracked with excitement that I can barely keep my hands steady enough to pour out the Kell’s Irish Style Lager!
"Irish Style Lager with a smooth mellow flavor and an apple crisp finish." That line on the side of the bottle is like an infection. And I’m coming down with it!
Appearance: Pours a golden, slightly hazy body with a thin off-white head.
Smell: Soft aroma of light grains, herbal hops, Granny Smith apples, and dried bread crusts.
Taste: Mild malt sweetness, slight floral bitterness, and some dough-like qualities. All the while, there’s a vague apple-like fruitiness. Dry, faintly tart finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-medium body with a spritzy, cider-like mouthfeel.
Drinkability: Not one of the more memorable offerings from Rogue, and certainly not worth the Rogue pricetag for what is simply a glorified lager. stobbe74 (700), Denmark

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 27, 2007 On tap at the Rogue Ales Public House in SF. Pours pale gold with a thin white head. Slight buttery aroma. Perhaps this has a bit of diacetyl? A vinegar tartness is pronounced. Maybe the line for this one in the public house is contaminated? I get a bit of apple cider out of this in between the yuckiness. Very mild and low hop bitterness. Nice lacing. swoopjones (1897), Buffalo, New York, USA
