ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 4, 2007 Bottled. Pours out in a slightly hazy golden colour with a low fluffy white foma. Mild and quite boring aroma of straw and pears. Weak flavour of straw biscuit and grass with a short mild finish of bread and pears. A huge dissapointment. eboats (887), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Feb 3, 2007 Poured golden with a white head. Aroma is slightly beefy with a familiar aroma I can’t place my finger on. Flavor is dry weaker malts. Not sure how to describe this one. Good body and good malt, but tastes I can’t put into words. pforei (338), USA Feb 2, 2007 650 Bottle. Nice golden color, white head that dissipates. Medium body for a lager. Taste has a little bit of malt and floral hops, with a slighty bitter pilsner dry finish. Balanced, but lacking unique character. PsyFlops (2), Brandon, Florida, USA does not count Jan 28, 2007 Not a lot of taste that I’m used to with rogue - a little watered down but actually very smooth. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA Jan 27, 2007 Pours golden, slightly hazy. Big rocky head, rapidly dissipating. Malty aroma but very mild. Flavor is malty mild. Body is a bit heavier than expected, but still quite thin. No aftertaste. Easy to drink, no offensive. ScoWRee (275), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 22, 2007 Pours a light gold with a very nice head. A Light aroma. Lightly carbonated. A fairly good bear. lagermonkey (597), Marietta, Georgia, USA Jan 18, 2007 Pours a bright golden copper with a sizeable frothy head. Lots of thick lacing. Aroma is pale sweetish malt, wisps of sour apple fruitiness.
Tastes if lightly sour pale malt. Very lagery, very tinny tasting. As it warms a bit, a nice herbal hop backbone. Mouth is crisp but thin. Hops linger a bit in the finish. It’s ok, nothing great, very average euro-style lager. Treephiend (57), Walla Walla, Washington, USA Jan 16, 2007 Honestly I was expecting more from Rogue in the flavor department. I guess I don’t really know what to make of such premium pilsner style larger. Nothing at all objectionable but nothing really stand out either.
