22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a thin fizzy white head that quickly diminishes to a thin ring that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is slightly sweet and grainy and kind of corny and vegetal.

The flavor is pretty mild - sweet honey, fruity, grainy with a subdued crisp hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to light, a little watery with some sharp carbonation.

Overall, it’s pretty drinkable and not offensive but not too exciting.

Again had this at B&B, Newport. Very light and refreshing beer. Bright straw yellow in color. Crisp refreshing. Too much malt flavor for my tastes. Very good beer for the Bud Drinker though.

Golden color, yeasty scent, one dimensional taste little malt or hop complexity, pretty traditional, not too great

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of pils yeast with a little hop and malt in there too. Poured golden in color. Small, white head is frothy but diminishes quickly. No lacing. Hazy but clear. Sparkling. Flavor is of Pils with some bitterness in the finish. Not very complex. Light body. Lively carbonation. Long bitter finish. Overall, a glorified Budwiser I would not drink again.

Nose is grainy, with a small amount of citrus; Slightly hazy gold with a small white head; much more flavor than most lagers, with malts, a little fruitiness and spices shwoing and a nice little bit of hops in the finish.

Draught. Pours light golden with a small white head. Aroma is mainly the usual lager aroma, but lightly vegetal with a hint of citrus and a little sweetness. Flavor is more complex than expected, also vegetal and somewhat sweet, with bready malts and a bit of other stuff I can’t place my finger on. Probably the best premium lager I’ve had, even if that still isn’t my favorite style.

Pours clear straw color with rather fizzy small white head. Nose is faint straw, wheatgrass, lemony, rose of sharon. Flavor is a premium lager revelation. Mildly sweet, slightly bitter, good dough-like malts and floral flavors, no astringency or off flavors. Clean, bitter finish with slightly bitter aftertaste. Can’t believe it comes up to 25 IBUs. Great summer beer, great lager.

1 pt.6 oz bottle: Pours a nice clear golden color with a rocky white head. Aroma is nice hop texture and a subtle malt backing, gingerbread, and quite spicy aroma. Nice malt textures come through most noticeable on the taste. It also includes the spicy gingerbread taste, apples, a nice medium sweetness and a hop backing. Palate is medium bodied, a rather creamy texture, nicely carbonated, and quite a long bitter finish. This stuff is really good. the subtle nuances of this beer are unexplainable. Probably on of the best premium lager I’ve had. Highly Recommended!
