Pours the same color as a domestic american lager but with a tighter head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Smells like hops more than anything else. Slight floral flavor with a sweet maltyness. Somewhat sticky mouthfeel with a crisp finish. Similar mouthfeel to cider. Tasty, crisp, and drinkable, expecially when it’s hot out.

Bright golden body with a cottony white head. Pleasant, fruity, but very clean malt aroma with grape notes. Flavor has some nice fresh pale malt, light sweetness, light bitterness, and some tangy, cleansing acidity. A refreshing beer that I can appreciate for what it is--a decent summer lager.

On tap at Flying Saucer, Ft. Worth: Beer is cloudy with a golden color. Aroma is mainly malty with a dash of fruit aroma. Flavor is sweet malt and a flavor that I can still only describe as lagered. Good lager beer.

(05.09.06) One pint, 6 oz brown bottle from DiCarolo’s, Mundelein, IL. 12 P. 28 IBU. Poured hazy golden yellow with small white head. Soft carbonation. Sweet malt aroma. Light to medium bodied lager that starts dry with light corn and malt flavors. Finishes dry with light malt fade. Not much hop presence. Fresh and crisp lager. Mild tasting, this is a decent drinkable lager

Bottled :Golden coloured. Unclear. Off white dense head. Grassy and herbal aroma. Has some fruity notes. Flavour of herbs and fruits. Quite crisp and light citric. Is medium to light bodied. A bit watery. Light bitter end. Not much going on here.

Bottle from Super Saver. Golden colored with fluffy white head. Aroma of slight caramel bready malty honey, some hops and subdued citrus. The palate is medium, not terribly complex, with flavors of bready, caramelly malt mixed with subdued hops and citrus.

Ah, could have told me this was an ale, and I would have believed it. Not a crisp lager, fully bodied with some sloppy amber ale flavors going on (caramel, some earthy flavors) with only light hopping (for Rogue anyway) in the finish. Very mild bready and light spices detectable (not quite like a toasted or vienna, but there anyway). Amber colored appearance with a relatively weak head. Picked this up since it was St. Patty’s day, but it’s nothing to really seek after.
