Flavor is the same, basically a good Budweiser. Where’s the Pacman yeast though? Can’t they add a cool spice or something to this one like the rest? Why make a bland lager with such a unique lineup? jujubeast6000 (777), Houston, Texas, USA

Strong aroma of malts. Very warm mouthfeel, bitter, slight apple finish, malty taste, light taste. BBB63 (4228), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 17, 2006 Bottle and served in a standard pint glass: Clean golden hue with a nice initial frothy head and good lace. The nose is pure grassy hops, grainy malts and lager yeast. The taste rather mild and slightly sweet with just a bit of bitter on the finish. A solid yet not mindblowning lager, quite drinkable. I would try it again. (Had on St. Patty Day 2006) trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 13, 2006 Very nice lager. Pours clear gold with a surprisingly thick white head. Good carbonation, not too bubbly. Nothing really stands out in the aroma; mostly grass and yeast. The flavor is more of the same. Good mix of malt and yeast, with some hops for that pilsner taste. Balanced, but not spectacular. ATOmemphis (200), Franklin, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 12, 2006 Rich golden color, clear with white fomay head that lingered. Good lacing. Carbonation really seems fantastic. The bubbles, they just keep coming. Notes of faint hops and slight malt in the nose. I got mostly the wheaty/haylike smell and some yeast. Best lager I’ve had yet. Great mouthfeel. Very lightly bitter. I could’t tell you enough, if you like the ’lager’, you’ll like this lager. entertheiceman (242), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 11, 2006 It is a lager folks it’s supposed to be this way. For the style it’s outstanding. Cloudy yellow appearance thick white head. Big grassy aroma and I did pick up some sour apple notes along with yeast, hops and much grass. More sour fruit in the flavor as it warmed like a hint of tart applesauce. This should be rated for how well it represents the style IMO. guzzler67 (1277), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 10, 2006 Pale, yellow/gold appearance with a small white head and little lacing. Floral aroma with a faint bit of fruit; nothing adventurous. Clean, dry taste aided by a lot of carbonation. Light-to-medium bodied mouthfeel, although a bit thin on the palate. Short lived, crisp finish. jtxx (141), san antonio, Texas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 10, 2006 Nothing to get excited about. Light gold color with quickly reducing head. No apple flavor. Rogue should do better than this.
