Ported (67), Ontario, Canada Mar 13, 2009 Clear golden with a frothy white head. Slightly sweet caramel and apple nose, with a similar flavour but with a nice mild bitter malt/hop aftertaste. One of the better lagers. Boutip (2335), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Mar 12, 2009 Bottle: Poured a clear bright golden color lager with large foamy head with average retention and some lacing. Aroma of light malt with no discernable hops. Taste is also dominated by some lightly sweet hops with no easily detectable adjunct. Body is quite lively with some good carbonation. Easily drinkable but not very complex or enjoyable for that matter. matt7215 (943), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Mar 12, 2009 bomber form the LCBO. this rating is on the second pour after the beer had warmed a bit, when cold it was all apple. pours a slightly hazy golden with a nice white top. steady, soft carbonation. aromas of bready pils malts with some floral hops. the taste is similar to the aroma. the finish could be hoppier but overall this is a well made lager. i proabaly wont buy more at $6.35 a bomber but that doesnt mean this brew is lacking. tomthompson89 (1460), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 11, 2009 really liked this... not a crazy beer but well done, pale golden, with nice big frothy white foam. nose is sweet almost caremel, some fruit in there. flavor is sweet with a bit of bitterness on the end. well made Lager DerWeg (750), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 11, 2009 Pours a light clear gold with a wisp of head. Medium-light body. Aroma is clean and fresh, with malty-bready grains and herbal hops. Flavour is very moderate hop bitterness, a touch of honeyed pale malt, finishing on a long enjoyable classic lager finish that balances crisp and sweet with no excess dry feeling or off flavors. As far as a decent easy-drinking lager goes, this stuff is the cat’s meow. wilderthanyou (411), Guelph, Ontario, Canada Mar 10, 2009 Pours a straw yellow with a thin white cap. Light Bodied. Aroma is light, floral hops, grain, some odd malty sweet note, and what I would say is maybe pumpernickel loaf? Flavour is very light hop bitterness, a touch of malt honey, finishes on an odd apple peel dry sourness. As far as a light easy drinking beer goes, this sucker is the bee’s knees. terrybail (331), London, Ontario, Canada Mar 9, 2009 650ml bottle from the LCBO

Beer info: Bottled in brown 650ml bottle 5.0% abv
Sampling Notes:
Served chilled in glass.
Clean straw body with decent white foam leaving sparce clumps of lace.
Pilsner malt dominates the nose, cereally and slightly biscuit. Some apple-y esters and floral hops in the background.
Light bodied, moderate carbonation, quite a creamy mouthfeel, goes down very easily. Low bitterness, dryng sort of texture.
Crisp cereal malts, bit of wheaty biscuit quality to it. Hops are subdued, lightly floral. Some apple and bready yeast lingers on a drying finish.
I wouldn’t say this beer was particularly remarkable, but its certainly easy drinking, well made and would appeal to most, so marks there for sure.
