Mar 11, 2009 Pours a light clear gold with a wisp of head. Medium-light body. Aroma is clean and fresh, with malty-bready grains and herbal hops. Flavour is very moderate hop bitterness, a touch of honeyed pale malt, finishing on a long enjoyable classic lager finish that balances crisp and sweet with no excess dry feeling or off flavors. As far as a decent easy-drinking lager goes, this stuff is the cat’s meow.

Jun 17, 2006 (05.09.06) One pint, 6 oz brown bottle from DiCarolo’s, Mundelein, IL. 12 P. 28 IBU. Poured hazy golden yellow with small white head. Soft carbonation. Sweet malt aroma. Light to medium bodied lager that starts dry with light corn and malt flavors. Finishes dry with light malt fade. Not much hop presence. Fresh and crisp lager. Mild tasting, this is a decent drinkable lager

May 31, 2006 very mediocre beer in general. Per style I might saw its a nose above average. Pours a light golden with descent sized fluffy white head. Aroma is quite weak mostly consisting of light sweet malt, straw maybe, and a very small hint of fruit. Flavor brings out more sweet which I enjoy, as well as a light wheat and again light fruitiness. Overall a drinkable brew.

Aug 20, 2007 Cloudy orange-gold with good white head / Clean grain and honey nose / Medium body, fizzy, with sweet, good finish / Flavors of apples, honey and grain, with very sweet finish / A good beer burdened by excessive carbonation and maybe a tad too much sweetness.

Feb 28, 2008 Golden pour, thin filmy head and some carbonation streamers from the bottom. Nose is of of grains, honey and some yeast. Taste is has a bit of funk on the front end but leads to a bit of earthy graininess. Quick finish. Meh.

Oct 5, 2009 Sampled at the 8th Annual Music City Brewer’s Festival. Pours clear yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is grain and yeast spice. Taste is grass, yeast, lemon and is pretty underwhelming, but hey, it’s a lager. Clean crisp and refreshing at least.

Nov 19, 2008 Bottle as shown. Pours a pale golden color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is sweet fruit and raisin. The taste is also a fruity malt and a sweet bitter finish. A good Lager from Rogue.
