Very light, tastes remarkably like Corona. Good to have more than one of, or just to get what we like to call ’DRUNK’

pours dark yellow with a fluffy white head. aroma of lemon and a candy sour. enjoyable refreshing crisp flavors. sour almost wheaty notes with an enjoyable sweet finish. one of the best lagers i’ve had in a while. nice touch of yeasty/earthy flavor in the finish. this would make a great lawnmower beer.

Pours the same color as a domestic american lager but with a tighter head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Smells like hops more than anything else. Slight floral flavor with a sweet maltyness. Somewhat sticky mouthfeel with a crisp finish. Similar mouthfeel to cider. Tasty, crisp, and drinkable, expecially when it’s hot out.

Pint at the Rogue Pub in Newport dock. In appearance it looks like typical lager , a good one, but at closer inspection the gold colour is more deep and solid than any I have seen. First thing I noticed is that the "nose" of this lager is slightly stronger in the maltiness than I expected..but of course thgere is plenty evidence of the hops. Great tasting lager, not too thin like many if its ilk..very malty to start..sweet and rather thick, then a great floral hoppiness takes over as the beer leaves the mouth on its journey down the throat. Very acceptable on the palate..very smooth. A very drinkable beer..I had three last night at the pub..that was after I had finished off a pint of the doppelbock and the chocolate stout.

From a 22 oz. distinctive shaped capped Rogue brown bottle, with a chicken and fish symbols on the side of bottle, which I’m guessing means a good pairing with chicken and fish. Made a very good appearance, poured a hazy dirty golden with a large frothy white head that reduced to a thin bubbly lacing with a small amount of sticking. Had a bread yeasty aroma with a little fruity banana as well and a faint herbal nuttiness, if that makes sense. Good carbonation and a creamy full bodied mouth feel, good drinkability. Had a herbal hoppiness at first with some metallic notes, a mildly biting bitterness, a dry yeastiness, an underlining crystal, fresh bread maltiness and a grainy dry finish with the metallic notes returning in the aftertaste.

Poured from a bottle - bright amber, almost gold color with a moderate head that dissipated quickly. A good hop aroma with some fruit. A crisp feel with every sip. A lasting bitter finish with a little apple mixed in. Not Rogue’s best brew but still very good. Would mix well with a St. Patty’s day meal.

Slightly hazy straw colour with a nice thick head. Herbal nose with clean, strawlike pale malt notes. Clean fresh bread malts on the palate with herbal hops, a light lemony character and a hint of mushroom. A bit of spritziness in the finish highlights a slight grainy accent to the pale malts. It’s hitting the spot.
