Nose of wheat and spice, and until brew breathes, some sulfur. Pours a clear golden straw. The tight frothy white head is mostly diminishing with fair lace. The brew has a flowery, acidic, and bready taste. The finish comes through toasty like a dortmunder/helles. The body is light, water, and soft. Definitely not a stand alone offering, but would be acceptable at a cookout. The funky initial nose hurts the brew mostly.

Bottled :Golden coloured. Unclear. Off white dense head. Grassy and herbal aroma. Has some fruity notes. Flavour of herbs and fruits. Quite crisp and light citric. Is medium to light bodied. A bit watery. Light bitter end. Not much going on here.

Nicee golden lager with thin creamy white head. Rather interesting pineapple and bananas in aroma (???). Rather sweet malty confection with definite strong fruit esters. On tap at Rogue Ales Public House, SF, August 2005.

Subtle malt presence but everything else is understated and unimpressive. I guess most companies make a lager at some point. This wasn't too bad, seemed a little hoppy for a lager, more like a pils.

22 oz. Bottle. Believe I got this from a cooler, maybe it has kept fresh. In a straight-sided lager glass it kicks up a big head of foam. Slightly cloudy pilsner gold color, head turns kind of rocky. Basic lager smell. A nice lager taste, but what makes it Irish style? Certainly no Czech or German hops, just a mild bitterness. Rather standard brew, well-made, but a Rogue?

Pours pale yellow with medium sized white head that dissipates quickly. Some carbonation bubbles. Tastes of citrus and melon, crisp and smooth -- tasty for a lager, a style I usually avoid. Easy to chug.

Bottle. Pours deep hazy yellow with a thin to non existent white head. Aromas of malts, slighty fruitiness and sweetness. Taste like cereal, like Wheaties. Grain, malt, etc. That’s about it. Finish is slighty sweet, but more grains. Body is light to medium. Fairly drinkable beer.
