To me, it’s not much more going on than a grainy, dry taste. No yummy bready taste, no wonderful yeasty aroma. Just grain. Not the best lager, and definitely not a pilsner in my book.

Sep 3, 2008 A strange fruity tang drives this beer but it works really well. Old worldy malts kick in late. Bubbly dry finish along with a faint sweet malt kick.

Aug 29, 2008 Poured from bottle a clear blonde with large white head and good carbonation. Aroma is hay, malt and lightly toasted grain. Flavor is bisquit, hay, toasted bread and grain with a gentle sweetness that ends dry and mildly bitter. I enjoyed this one even though I had it after a super hoppy IPA or maybe because of that. Anyhow, decent flavors, a nice not too heavy body and smooth finish.

Aug 15, 2008 Draft at GOBF ’08...pours yellowish amber w/ a fluffy white head. The aroma has some citrus hints alon with earthy hops, and some grains. The flavor was sweet mix of the aromas. Palate was mediuum bodied with a lingering bitter finish. I was "eh" about this beer.

Aug 13, 2008 nice amber pour with a small white head. apples and malts on the nose. plain malty flavor with some spices and malts in the end.

Aug 11, 2008 Flavor is bread with a touch of apples. Watery and thin but that’s to be expected in a lager - premium or otherwise. Pale yellow color with a decent white head.
