COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in honor of Bob Brenlin, long time friend of John Maier and Rogue’s first draft account in Seattle, where dry-hopped Saint Rogue Red became a cult classic amongst Pacific NW hop-heads! Latona 20th achieves amazing complexity by using just two ingredients. The malt, Special Aromatic, is from France and is produced for a few Belgian brewers. The hops are a new variety, Mt Rainier which grown in Oregon. This ale is highly aromatic from the eathly notes of the malt and the citrusy quality of the hops. OG = 15.6 degrees Plato, FG = 3.9 degrees Plato, IBU approx 65.

Crushed with Honkeybra at GABF. Not a very big strong ale, but still has plenty of flavor. Very excellent hop presence, especially in the finish. A nice, bitter finish. Dug it.

Cloudy light amber color. Nothing special, just some toffee flavor and strong bitterness.

Nice deep orange amber coloring and a florally bitter aroma accompanied by a more balanced flavor. On draft at Hopvine Pub, very nice.

Amber/orang color with nice white head. Faint citrus nose. Well balanced, nice hop bite, creamy mouthfeel with well proportioned malt profile. On tap at Drafting Room.

Tap at Rattle’n’Hum. Pale, ugly copper colored pour with a small head. Mushroom, grain, lemon aroma. Fizzy body, kind of harsh, with mushroom, earth, and carrot flavors. American Strong Ale? Not really. Dull as hell.

(Draught) Poured golden and lightly hazy. Beer had medium sized and white head. Aroma was dominated by grassy hops. Medium bodied and dry palate had medium carbonation. Beer tasted of malts, grassy hops and bitterness. Bitter aftertaste. Reminded a lot of a pils.

Copper color and a little hazy. Subdued malt characteristic. Fruity and citrusy, yet smooth. It is a session beer.

Pretty solid beer. Had some on tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a nice amber hue with a slight off-white head. Nose of hops and mild fruitiness. Flavor is well balanced between with nice malt and hop presence. Good, clean finish.

Tap at the Falling Rock Amber pour, off white head. Aroma of hops, caramel. Flavor is malty, hoppy. Some alcohol in there. Pretty forgettable.
