On tap @ Rogue Public House, Portland. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of spicy, herbal hops, hay and light bready malt. Flavor is fairly bitter with just enough malt for balance. Light body with active carbonation and a crisp, clean mouth feel. Pretty good, light refreshing beer.

Aroma: It has a nice crisp, clean hop nose with some bread, grass, and some lemon
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden color with a decent sized white head
Flavor: Clean and crisp hops, some sweetness balances the hop bitterness
Palate: The drinkability was high, with a light and somewhat creamy body
Overall Impression: This was a pretty decent german style pils, this is fairly bitter for the style. It was quite drinkable. I liked this one well-enough, but it certainly didn’t blow me away by any means.

tap at fermentation lounge - yellow w/ bright white - pungent grain malt aroma, not in a good way, chicken soup vibe - taste is grainy as well - not sure if this is a bad batch, but not for me - not choking down, but close. 5.8/10

On draft at Capone’s. I was surprised to see this called a pilsener, because I thought it was supposed to be a mellow IPA - guess I got fooled by the monniker. Mellow and sweet for a hoppy ale. Light honey aroma, gold pour, sweet and fresh.

On tap at Capone’s. Okay, I like happy pilsners, but for some reason this didn’t knock my socks off. Grainy, but lots of corn like sweetness that just sort of hung on my tongue. The bitterness was intense. Worth a try, I guess

Bitter at start and bitter to finish. I finished it an hour ago and I can still taste it. Very simple in body and flavor. As far as I am concerned, n ot a great German Pils.

On tap at the Rogue Public House in San Francisco (Listed as "Rogue Love & Hoppiness Wedding Pils"). Pours with a slightly hazy light golden body with a long lasting white head. Very faint aroma overall. Some bready notes, grassy and grainy. Clean fermentation. Light notes of honey, spicy and herbal hops. Flavors are bitter, grassy, grainy and a bit messy. Very bitter (lingers as well). Biscuit, grassy. Malt character is sweet. Extremely (read: too) lively carbonation, kind of astringent, medium dry. Score might be generous.

Draft at Capone’s with Sean and Vin. 5 oz flight. Pours slightly clear yellow with a slight ring of white lace. Aroma of lemon, butterery corn, dry hops, and dusty farmhouse. Body is medium with a playfully zesty, crisp palate. Finishes dry and a bit malty. Decent pilsner.

Undated notes: Pours gold with a nice pillowy head. Smells of crisp, dry pilsner malt, some perfume, wildflowers, spicy. Tastes peppery and dry with a nice full bodied mouthfeel.
