Draft at The Sanctuary in Iowa City. Also known as Rogue Collaborator. Poured a clear medium orange color. The head was off white, two fingers high, and reduced over a few minutes. So so aroma of subdued hay, cereal grain, and brown sugar. Light bodied and slightly sweet up front. tasted of hay mostly with a dry, crisp, grainy finish. Lager-ish through and through. The Rogue website says it is a Helles.

Draft, JLS at Barleys. Clear golden-bronze with just a spit of foam. Aroma is grain, honey and light alcohol. Flavor is the same, with some toasted nut and light berry. Light-medium body is just barely to the dry side. Seems like this one kind of lost its character by being undecided about whether to be a helles or a dunkler.

On tap. Pours a clear amber color with no head. The aroma is gummy sweet with low amounts of papery hops. Suggestions of berries and candy are noted. The mouthfeel is medium light. The flavor is buttery with subtle hints at berries and cinnamon, with an ever so lightly spiced finish. Husky, wooden cereal flavors are present. Decent.
