28/07/2011 650ml bottle @ Klaas’ place - BB: 8/2009 (2011-349) Thanks to Klaas for sharing the bottle!
Very dark brown beer, beige creamy head, non adhesive, bit stable. Aroma: sweet stone fruits (peaches, mango), red berries, some caramel, chocolate. MF: medium to full body, good carbon. Taste: mocha, sour fruits, some coffee notes. Aftertaste is a bit watery, mocha, coffee bitter, fruity hops.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jimthechap (644) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 31, 2011
So brown as to be black, fluffy mocha head about a finger thick. Has rich berry aromas reminiscent of Rennaisance Elemental Porter. Not terribly sure about any coffee notes, but for all that a lovely scented beer. Allspice, christmas cake also.
Plenty of carbonation, full fruit and good mouthfeel. A lovely tangy sourness spreads across the palate and lingers. I’m sorry that I only have one bottle. Tasty and a long finish.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2011 I don’t like coffee beers, but this one is okay. Not overpowering. Just a good dark beer.

Pitch black with a tan head which was not retained and no lacing up the glass. The mocha is more apparent on the nose than in the palate. This does offer a nice, hoppy porter and it shows a nice roasted coffee bean quality. A very good daily porter.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 janubio (223) - SPAIN - JUL 13, 2011
330 ml. bottle. Very dark colour, with a big brown head, but it doesn’t have much retention. And not much lace either. Smells of coffee, licorice, dark fruits and brown sugar. Honey and vanilla too, but never too strong. And... it’s too thin in the palate, taste is very faint also, more chocolate than coffee, sweet, dark fruits. Easy to drink, but not the best I’ve had.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Balazs (562) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 27, 2011
Poured dark brown with a beige, lacing head. Caramel, bread, honey, licorice in the somewhat earthy aroma. Medium bodied and carbonated, somewhat oily. Sweet taste with a nice hoppy aftertaste. One of those very easily drinkable beers, good one.

0,65 l bottle, courtesy of Balazs, thanks!
Dark brown beer with a hint of ruby in the body, nice medium creamy beige head. Moderated aroma with cocoa and some red-wild fruits, light cappuccino. Easy texture, cocoa and some vinous fruity character in the flavor. Easy drinkable, fine and balanced.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 caralkaline87 (386) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 8, 2011
Pours dark brown with a touch of brown, frothy head. Nose is fairly weak and usual porter stuff: coffee, brown sugar, slight burnt quality, touch of hops. Frontside has a bit of sweetness and hops at once, with both fading to a weak, slightly coffee-like backside. Finish is almost not there. Decent but unremarkable.
