Bottle. This beer pours black with a thick tan head. The aromas are Michael coffee, dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is roast and bitter with a slightly water but heavy body. Really great beer! Cheers!

Pours a smooth, creamy head that lasts as long as you please with equally lasting lacing over a very, very dark reddish brown body. Aroma is pine and dough. Taste is light sweetness, lightly sour, and medium bitterness. Palate is light body, thin feel, fizzy, bitter, fairly long finish, Overall, this beer is poor.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark amber with a little creamy tan head. Somewhat smoky, medium body, slightly crisp. Bittersweet coffee and chocolate make for a full taste, finishing with a not so bitter hop bite. A real nice porter!

I liked it, but I think it was to cold to get a good read on it. Full bodied and dark brown, but hoppy.

12 oz bottle into English pint. Pours black to deep brown with some reddish-brown tints when held up to the light. Has a thick, long-retaining dark beige head with some nice lacework. Aromas include mocha, bread, caramel, faintly spicy (clove or ginger?). Taste starts out a little sweet and finishes sour and bitter; the bitterness lingers. Tastes like roasted coffee and nuts, although the mocha could be more prounounced. Carbonation and body are medium; mouthfeel is creamy. Nice.
