3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Amco (32) - Louisiana, USA - MAR 13, 2011
A dark pour with a light head. The aroma of chocolate, coffee, and light floral hops. A light bitter that is very creamy in texture. Porters are not my strong suit but I enjoyed it overall.

bottle. Pours a dark brown color with pretty big, creamy, frothy light brown head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, actually a little lactose. Flavor is dark chocolate, with a little bit of coffee in there imparting a very subtle bitterness. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Decent, well pretty good I suppose.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 BeeriedEyed (157) - USA - MAR 2, 2011
Great tasting porter. I was expecting a more smokey presence but a little less a porter a more of a stout in some respect. Either way a good beer when you are looking for a heavier brew.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 MacroBro (8) - - FEB 27, 2011 does not count
A very good porter. I don’t get as much of the Mocha flavor as the name would imply. Great aroma - smells rich and sweet. This is a great, drinkable porter.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Rettep (904) - SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2011
Bottle best before August 2009. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a good-looking cappucino head. Aroma: sweet licorice, blackcurrants, chocolate. taste: licorice, the darkest wine gums, blackcurrants, chocolate, coffee, low bitterness. Medium-bodied with noticeable carbonation. Reminds me of Anchor Porter but with coffee added. Not as much coffee as expected though, perhaps much of that has disappeared with age.
