Not much mocha flavor swirling around in this bottle. I get the taste of malt balls and cheap baking chocolate. The color is pretty black with an ice cap head. Okay, but not something I would origami my wallet to.

Deep brown pour from bottle with a thin head. Aroma is malt and banana. Taste is malt, bananas and vanilla. Chocolate finish. Pretty good.

Looks like a glass of oil. The aroma smells very chocolaty and malty. The porter taste is good, but it tastes a bit watered down to me.

Bottle. Pours nice and dark with a mocha head. Some lacing, not as much as I’d thought. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, some grains, toffee? and light roasted malts. Taste is mild but enjoyable. A bit of roasted malt, some soft chocolate, coffee notes and some cereal. A little bit underwhelming, and maybe a bit too thin.

12 oz. bottle. Served at cellar temperature. Pours a thick mocha head, of good duration, with heavy lacing, over a slightly red, dark brown (SRM 35) body...nose is chocolate, coffee, light cereal....taste is coffee, chocolate, finishing with a sharp hop bitterness (more dominate when cold)....mouth feel is medium, carbonation adds a pleasant spritz. This is quite similar to other "American" robust Porters. The hop is more pronounced, as usual, and the malt slightly more hidden. This is better at cellar temperature then fresh from the refrigerator. BJCP 7/3/14/4/7

Tastes of roasted malt and chocolate. Slight coffee taste as well. A little thin for a porter, but great foamy head with a beige color. Pretty solid offering from Rogue.

Bottle. Pour has a nice dark brown color with a kahki soapy head that dissipates to a ring around glass. I get scents of strong chocolate and toasty malt, flavor is bitter chocolate and more roasted malt. Palate is
fizzy and somewhat thin with a chaulky pasty like finish.

Pours a dark brown colour with a medium mocha head. Aroma is of roasted malts, toast and of course coffee / mocha. Taste consists of consistent dry bitterness throughout, with a noticeable malt backbone to it as well. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate, and soft carbonation. A nice porter but nothing outstanding.
