Bottle; Pour is dark brown with a nice khaki head. Excellent retention, light lacing - Light chocolate and roasted coffee notes on the nose. So - typical of Rogue - Its a little thin and watery. Light roasted coffee, cocoa, and bittersweet really sums it up. The creaminess comes through from the head. Its really on the simple side.

It pours reddish brown from bottle and then settles very dark in the glass with some reddish/amber hue near the edges. Thick and frothy head; Tan in color. Coffee; and smokey roasted malt. I didn’t really pick up on mocha or chocolate till later; it seemed much more subdued. Medium body; dry mouthfeel. Carbonation is noticeable. Beer lingers a little after taking it down. Feels thinner than I would prefer.

i love porters and stouts and this one is good but i find it a bit to bitter and light for a porter. And im not finding the strong coffee flavor i was looking for with a name like mocha porter. not great but not horrible

Drink this beer! Love it - tastes like a starbucks specialty mocha yummy drink with alcohol. Head to the end. Chocolatey, mocha, thick texture, lacey. Good balance between malt and bitter taste. Smooth and leaves you wanting more.

A simple but nice porter with all the right flavours (coffee, chocolate, vanilla etc) but perhaps a bit too light.

Bottle. Poured a pitch black color with a creamy tan head, that left lacing on the glass as it went. Aroma was roasted malts, coffee, and coco. Flavor was burnt coffee, caramel, and molasses. Sweeter up front with a bitter chocolate, coffee like finish. Medium body. Creamy beer. Very good.

Pours a dark brown with a thick, puffy, off-white head. Aroma is lots of coffee and chocolate with some resin, Taste is dry up front; warm and malty - chocolate, coffee, nutty in the middle; on the back end, surprisingly hoppy. Finishes pretty nicely. Great porter; does not warm very well, however.
