Nice beer. Slight coffee flavor. Darker than most porters. A bitter aftertaste.

I probably shouldn’t have had this for lunch but it seemed a bit much for me at the time. It was a bit strong for me at the time, though I’ll try it again if I see it.

Pretty good porter. I bit over hopped and over carbonated for my tastes though.

Beautiful sweet, chocolatey stuff. A tad bit too much carbonation, but not bad enough to detract from this lovely brew.

This is one of my favorite porters. I stopped buying it because the carbonation left me with exploding beers. I’ve tried at least 10 six packs and there’s always at least 2 beers that completly explode. I don’t appreciate cleaning up half a beer off my floor. Especially this fine of a brew. What a waste. Has anyone else had this problem? Let me know... no I’m not shaking up the bottles..LOL

Thsi was a great beer. Combine mocha & porter? Of course! Brilliant! One of my favorites.

Not quite as good as their Shakespeare Stout, but still quite good.

Dark body, almost nonexistant head. Nice mocha, roasted, hop aroma. Great flavor that starts out with a nice roasted flavor and then moves to hoppiness. Im not sure how you get this much hops in a porter and make it seem natural but kudos to John Maier for pulling it off. A stellar porter.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sweet, malty nose gives way to astringent roast coffee flavors on the first sip. The coffee and astringency fall to the background as the beer warms, giving way to a sweeter and more complex cocoa maltiness. Some hop notes, but not abundant. Very luscious dark brown color with virtually no head. Not my favorite Rogue brew, but still good.

Nice dark color and a great roasty aroma. This was happily complimented by a nice robust body and its mocha-chino taste.
