Light choc aroma with slight crystal malt aroma too. Light to medium bodied very clean finish, hoping for a little more body though. Good malt driven finish, clean and dry.

Pours dark brown with thinnish light brown head, specks of lace. Head is fizzy. Smells like mocha, light chocolate and coffee. Some sweet malts as well. Body disappoints, mediumish/thin with fizzy carbonation.

12oz bottle from tipples brews. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head. Aroma has roasted malts, coffee beans, and alcohol. Taste is a bit watery, some coffee and malts. Molasses on the backend Light mouthfeel and a bit sticky. Overall i was not impressed with my first rogue brew

@1stBP, Bottle: Light beige lacing. Color is dark amber brown to black. Smell oatmeal, rice, hints of roasted malts/ingredients, raisin, malts, bread. Taste is bit waterish and pretty thin and disappears quick. Taste rice, hazelnut, slight hint of mocca. Expected more of this one.

Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle in an elongated tulip glass. The beer pours an opaque black, with a moderately sized tan head that fades within a long moment. The nose is initially fairly hard to ascertain, but begins to open as the sample warms. Toasted bready notes, and herbal hop scents, along with a less noticeable note of chocolate; seemingly targeting the English brown porter style. The palate is hindered somewhat by being overly carbonated. The aforesaid makes it a bit difficult for a fellow to really grasp whether the malt bill advertised really shows itself. Perhaps a touch of coffee, a bit of dark chocolate, and a muddled note that is further muddied by the almost spritzy carbonation. The finish is fairly clean, and surprisingly crisp, saving a nice lingering chocolaty bitterness. Overall, a beer that lacks serious flaw, but also that is rather forgettable.

Pours a nice dark golden brown color. A nice head that stays around, leaving some gorgeous lacing. Very Nice! Smell is very light carmel, almost a smokey like smell going on (I am not very fond of it). Taste is a strong burnt carmel, along with some dark chocolate. Not to much carbonation going on here. Drinkability, I would have to say is moderate. It isn’t my favorite porter, and the bottles are quite big, seeing myself only having one at a time. Overall, not to bad, definitely worth a shot. Smells strongly of chocolate. Pitch black with next to no light coming through the glass with a long standing thick tan head of foam. Taste of dark malts and chocolate with earthy hop flavors shining through. Very thin on the tongue with a dryness in the finish. A beer that is bursting with flavor and with an alcohol content that allows you to enjoy more than one on your own.
