Pours a deep, dark brown. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and toffee. Flavor is exactly as the aroma, just a bit more bitter. Good Porter.

Light brown foamy head. Dark brown colour. Aroma is malty wih fruity (banana) and light coffee notes. Flavor is malty too with fruity (banana and vanilla) coffee and hearthy tones, ending in a bitter chocolaty finish. Medium bodied.

Dark brown bordering on black, thick creamy tan head, foamy lacing. Chocolate and coffee aromas as you would expect. Bitter chocolate finish for taste; not as balanced as I would have liked. Creamy mouthfeel.

Smells of bakers chocolate, roasted carpet and freshly chopped wood. Flavor is of unripened cherries or other unripe fruit and a staleness that won’t go away after the swallow. Body is light to medium especially for the style and the mouthfeel could be heftier. I’m not pickin up what they’re puttin down here. Thank You Rogue. 2010 22oz.

12oz bottle. Has a nice roasted sweetness and pleasant aroma consistent with the taste. Incredibly easy to drink. Good bitterness at the finish. Definitely one of my new favorites.

If you dont like the bitterness of the chocolate stout, try this one. Nice sweet mocha character to the sweeter porter style. I love sweets and I love this beer.
