Bottle tasting from work. This beer pours a black color with a large, frothy, light brown head. The smell is a good balance of burnt chocolate and a light hoppy smell. This beer has a very light and thin body with a sweet beginning and a bitter finish. I am pretty sure this beer was flat because I couldn’t really taste much mocha anymore and it was rather light tasting. If I try this again I will have to make sure I get a fairly new bottle of it.

Drank from a pint glass out of a bottle at the Stag’s Head Bar, NYC. Pours a dark heavy brown color with almost no head. Taste is overly hoppy at first, then fades to a weak mocha coffee and malt flavor. This one needs to lessen up on the hops and add a little more smooth mocha and malt flavoring.

Bottle 330ml. Great, tasty beer. Aromas of apple, coffee, and vanilla. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, and good duration. Palate is velvety, with a medium body. Black, with a frothy and lasting head.

Pours a deep dark brown, with a thick tan creamy head. Aroma’s of coffee and chocolate, roasted malt and slight hop tinge. Taste starts with a dry slightly bitter chocolate then moves to a coffee, and finishes creamy with a slight hop dryness. Overall a very good beer!
