pours ultra dark brown, thick decent head, small and micro CO2, thick sticky lacing, barely detectable CO2 streams due to the darkness. A bit of malt on the nose, nothing else otherwise. Rush of bittersweet chocolate and a slight coffee edge up front, very minor coffee sourness in the mid, deep medium bitter long lingering finish. Low-medium complexity, medium-high depth, long length, but a rather short carry, medium-bodied with slightly watery viscosity. Overall pretty good going down, but rather one-note and not enough to come back for more.

Bottled. Pours deep brown with an average sized. beige, creamy head. Nose of roasted malts, strong coffee, locorice and vanilla notes. Moderate sweet flavor with chocolate,coffee and licorice. Medium to full bodied, creamy to oily texture and flat carbonation. Quite a bitter finish .A nice one!

Leaves the mouth with a smoky, roasted coffee flavor. Slight hops. Not overpowering malts.

In bottiglia al 4:20 di Roma. Colore marrone scuro quasi nero, schiuma beige, cremosa. Al naso caffè, vaniglia, malti tostati. Al palato tostato, caffè, vaniglia e cacao, finale più dolce di quanto mi aspettassi. Ottima!

Bottle.... It pours very dark brown with a small nice creamy head.....The aroma is sooo nice mocha..... and chocolate..... the flavor is fresh creamy, coffee, chocolate and fresh light hops.....nice and great porter.....

Roasted malty aroma, mild toffee aroma, faint hops in the background.
Flavor is toffee, roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, does in fact taste a little like mocha. Rather mild beer, but pretty flavorful.

As expected, rich, roasted, bitter chocolate and coffee flavors are very dominant. The creamy mouthfeel balances it out, and creates one good porter.

Pours a very dark brown with a nice creamy head. Nice coffee aroma, tasting reveals the chocolate flavour, not too bitter. Another great porter.
