Out of a 6 pack!!!! Yay!!!!!! Into a chilled mug.Pours nice and dark with a good head that fades but still sticks around until the beer is gone.A sweet smell at first, then smoke and chocolate come rushing in. A very easy to drink porter, that finally made its way into a 6 pack here in nor cal. Now if Rogue could only put shakespeare stout in a 6 pack????........ I probably wouldnt need anything else in life.

Beer poured into a pint glass a beautiful deep, dark black with a two finger light brown head. The head starts out more bubbly but settles into a thicker, creamier texture that, while it doesn’t stay around for the duration of the drink., does leave a nice thick lace. Smell is hints of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt. A tiny biting scent at the end let’s you know this is a beer and not an iced coffee. Taste and mouthfool are slightly above average. For being called a mocha porter, nothing jumped out at me that would distinguish this from any above average porter. If there is a "mocha" flavor, it is very very light. That said, it is tasty and carbonation is present but pretty much spot on. Body is thin. This is highly drinkable and though I probably wouldn’t buy it again, I recommend it to porter fans.

[2346-20090103] 650mL bottle. Roasted smoke malt aroma. Dark dark brown body with a medium creamy tan head and some lacing. Smoky roasted coffee grounds flavour. Full body is slightly watery. Smells better than it tastes.

Bottle that I picked up at Bellingers Jet Garage, Grove near Wantage, Oxon and consumed in a field at Cropredy Festival 13-08-09 Pours brown with a heavy light beige foamy head. Aroma is coffee, a strange touch of persil washing-up-liquid heaven knows where that came from, there is also a blunt maltiness. Taste is very coffee, smooth but really lingers, coffee dregs, nice stuff. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Pours brownish black with a nice amount of light tan head. Aroma is chocolate and espresso, with hints of an earthy/peaty character. This just becomes more evident in the flavor, and is joined by hints of dark fruits, a smoky note, and a mouthfeel and lingering taste which is reminiscent of a dry stout.

I had originally from a bomber and again from the new 12oz releases... not bad at all and one of my favorite choc/coffees.
