Rated from old notes. A way chocolate brew with a foamy head. Two thirds of the way through a bit of a raw alcohol taste. Surprisingly light bodied for a porter, but quite likeable in the end. Left brown chocolate like sediment at bottom of glass!

Dark brown light Porter, nearly no head. Very drinkable if you can’t stand the reel bitter Porter. Tasts of chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, small bitter and a light sweetness of caramel. I prefer the heavy Porters, but this one is sufficient.

Dark brown pour with almost no head. Aroma is malty and roasted, with a hint of cocoa. Flavor is somewhat light, with barely a trace of chocolate, and only coffee notes in the dry finish. Not a bad beer, but needs more of the mocha all around.

Bottle. Dark ruby brown colour with lovely ruby highlights. Decent tan head lasted well and left nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and espresso. Light to medium sweetness and similar bitterness, touch of astringency. Light to medium body; surprisingly thin but gritty texture; slightly dry but long lasting roasted finish.

Has a nice flavor. Some good chocolate undertones without being to extreme. Easy to drink.
