alaskanwarren (271), Edgewater, Colorado, USA Nov 2, 2007 aroma is slightly roasty and nutty. Small hints of the spiciness. Flavor is chocolaty, slightly acidic, and hints of cold coffee. This makes for a great porter. The chocolate gives it some nice roastiness that I really enjoy. Very drinkable.
bretupdegraff (59), Fishers, Indiana, USA Sep 4, 2008 This brew was what I expected thought I hoped for better. I need to learn to avoid the ’mocha’ and ’vanilla’ beers as I have not found on that I really like. Not horrible. I won’t go out of my way to find but would enjoy this over any lite beer. kassner (146), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 4, 2008 Dark Amber with obvious alcohol, modest tan head and enough sweet Malts, wine flavors and some vanilla OK but nothing special for the type BrewDad (1657), Olympia, Washington, USA Sep 4, 2008 22oz Bomber - Rogue Brewery - Newport, OR

imadeadguy (151), Westampton, New Jersey, USA Aug 29, 2008 Bomber. Pour is black with a fizzy brown head. Aromas strong of roasted malt, coffee, and some cocolate. Flavor is a bit of smoke, roasted malt, and coffee. Solid porter but nothing to rant and rave about. nqualls (201), Tennessee, USA Aug 26, 2008 Poured a dark black with a huge thick tan head. Aroma of coffee. Flavor was smooth with chocolate and coffee notes and a bitter hop bite on the end. Good beer.
