3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a beautiful dark brown to black with a nice firm tan head which laces well. Looks great. Aroma is hops and chocolate. Flavor is satisfyingly full and roasty with coffee. Creamy mouthfeel, but not thick or sweet. Dry and bitter on the finish. Excellent Porter with obvious attention to quality. I may have preferred a bit more sweetness, but its not really a complaint, just my style preference. Very well done by Rogue. $9.99 for a six at Broudy’s, Jacksonville FL.

tastes like a nice beer when you consider depth and overall enjoyment, but I am not getting the mocha coffee flavour. Quite fizzy carbonation. Head stays a while but not too thick. Some flavour of chocolate way back.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with an average tan head that has some staying power. Decent amount of lace. Espresso on the nose with some chocolate notes. Palate is expresso and dark chocolate. Dry finish, coffee flavor lingers. Solid porter.

Love the strong taste of coffee and chocolate mixed with the more traditional roasted malt. There was also a tates of oats in there and a combination of sweet and bitter in the aftertaste.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle; poured a deep chocolate brown. Aroma of coffee. Flavor was also dominated by the coffee, and quite strong. Perhaps too much coffee in this one for my liking.
