Aroma is hard to pinpoint. It smells semi strong, just not sure what it smells like. Taste is medium sweet up front. Can not taste a whole lot of mocha. Finish is hoppy which is interesting for a porter. Overall a pretty nice and unique porter. I would have again.

Light mocha aroma and taste with bitter chocolate aftertaste. Light body and carbonation. Maybe a bad batch but nothing special or even worth remembering.

Mild aroma. Slight roasted malt, slight hops. But very clean and inviting. Pours very dark brown, with a medium carbonation and thin tan head that does cling to the glass, however. Medium body, slightly dry. Hops make themselves know in the finish, which is quite dry. The malt and hops intertwine nicely throughout. I've been drinking many different porters over the last few weeks and this is one of the better ones.

Pours darkdarkdark brown with a huge tan head. Smells roasty chocolatey. Tastes light chocolate. Silky smooth on the palate. Not bad at all.

Fabulous! I forgot to rate this one several times now as I've picked up my thrid or fourth random Six of the stuff. Dark dark dark brown/black with a nice medium-size creamy head. Strong malty coffee and mocha flavor with a decent hop backbone. Great creamy mouthfeel. Seems VERY similar to Nimbus Outmeal Stout to me, only lighter bodied.

Nose of chocolate and coffee and some nuttiness. Rich chocolate and bitter coffee in the mouth. Seems to be a bit two dimensional, choc and coffee.Finishes a little thin and lacks some oomph to really make it a great beer

12 oz bottle from BevMo. Dark brown with a small light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, toasted malts, a bit of caramel and coffee. Taste is bittersweet chocolate, toasted caramel and coffee grounds. Backed by a resiny hoppiness that comes through as slightly acidic. Medium bodied with a light texture, dry finish and slightly higher than average carbonation. Could have easily been richer but they kept it drinkable. Love the low ABV.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2003 VEry nice porter. Chocolatey smooth flavor. I have no problem drinking a couple of these. I never met a Rogue I didn't like. I am having some right now, probably one of my top 4 beers. Great aftertaste.

Pours a deep and dark mahogony color with a frothy yet quickly diminishing tan head. Roasted malt and some coffee in the nose...relatively light body with a nice roasted coffee mocha flavor with a subtle hit of chocolately bitterness. Very solid brew.
