The clue’s in the name. Pours dark, no head at all after a couple of seconds. Aroma after pouring a bit unpleasant at first, but dissipates to a light roasty aroma. Lacks body, and despite big coffee flavours, modest sweetness and an good balance comes across as a bit thin. Long dry finish with lingering coffee flavour.

A decent porter with a medium aftertaste of burnt chocolate and coffee. Usual dark color and a good aroma. Would make an OK session porter.

Pours pitch black with a nice brown head. The nose are very nice, coffee, chocolate and some vanilla sweetness. The flavor is nutty, chocolate and roasted malt. The finish has a good bitterness and some sweetness in the background.

I'm not a big fan of porters but if you are this would be a good beer for you. Nice strong coffee flavor and a dark apperance. Left a little bit to strong of an aftertaste. Overall it was a good beer

Deep coffee and chocolate flavors...lighly hopped and an undeniable sweetness that curls in the foretaste. Although this is not my favorite style of brew, it was pretty enjoyable nonetheless.

Over the top in hop bitterness aroma. After beer hits your lips, it isooooo smooth. I love it. Chocolate comes in the middle and stays strong through the palette. Sean says, "As soon as I swallows a big mouth full, chocolate comes through strong and deep.

I just could get paste the coffee taste. It took away from all the other flavors of this beer. Pour is a dark brown with a very light head. Taste wanted to be good, but the coffee taste would not leave my palate.

pours a dark murky brown, nice chocolate aroma. light to medium carbonation. Full bodied flavors of dark roasted malts and moderate amount of hops on the finish, notes of burnt coffee, milk chocolate and pepper. Lots of creamyness. Overall pretty good.

Seems to be a porter version of the chocolate stout, but the chocolate overwhelms the porter flavor. Much rather drink their stout.

Pours well, looks good, aroma of a little chocolate and coffee. The flavor, I found lacking. Seemed like it should be stronger and more varied. Clean finish with well balanced bitterness.
