When you poured it has a a nice black colour. The head was beige and lingered, a little too carbonated. Flavour of strong hops w\ a great coffee and mocha hints. The aftertaste lingures of toffee. Smells exactly like it taste. ****great brew*****

Looks nice, dark with a nice head. Aroma is malty, sweet with toasted carmel and chocolate & coffee notes. Body pretty dry and seems a bit too light for a beer of this style. Overall this one is mediocre and needs more body and defined flavor.

Dark dark brown color with uneven settling thick brown head. Strong chocolate aroma, with bread and slight sourness. Milk chocolate in flavor with some sweetness mixed with a bit of roasty dryness. Thick mouthfeel. Yum.

Delicious complexity of flavors after the initial dubious sip. This porter is a very enticing brew. The aroma is of a bouquet of flowers with a tail of sweet cocoa. Pours nicely with a initial tight head.

Ah yes... a most excellent Porter. Much more coffee than chocolate in this one -- very bitter, very 'dark', very good. Not a heavy aftertaste other than the lingering bitter flavour on your tongue, but I can't manage to find the "light cream finish" advertised in the commercial description. Great porter -- get some if you can.

Dark chocolate color with a tawny head. Caramel aroma makes this an inviting brew. THe palate explodes with coffee and overcooked caramel but leaves a strong bitterness on the back of the palate, a bit too intense even for a porter.

Slight coffee and chocolate taste, an all round good drop, will drink again, some time soon

Pours a dark brown with a small amount of tan head that disappears rather quickly. Aromas consist of roasted malts, cocoa, slight coffee, hops, caramel, and sweet cream. The taste is vary malty with a bitter bite. This really is a nice balance of bitter and sweet flavors. The sweetness comes through on the creamy undertones. The coffee seems to add bitter components. The chocolate comes in underneath. This seems lighter in body than some porters I’ve had but also very creamy. I think this might be because of the high carbonation. Kind of dry finish. This is a delicious and very drinkable porter. Rogue is becoming a favorite of mine.

Great dark and rich color of beer and head. Not too sweet. Perfect amount of sweet chocolate, coffee taste with a bitter taste.
