Nose of chocolate and coffee and some nuttiness. Rich chocolate and bitter coffee in the mouth. Seems to be a bit two dimensional, choc and coffee.Finishes a little thin and lacks some oomph to really make it a great beer

12 oz bottle from BevMo. Dark brown with a small light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, toasted malts, a bit of caramel and coffee. Taste is bittersweet chocolate, toasted caramel and coffee grounds. Backed by a resiny hoppiness that comes through as slightly acidic. Medium bodied with a light texture, dry finish and slightly higher than average carbonation. Could have easily been richer but they kept it drinkable. Love the low ABV.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2003 VEry nice porter. Chocolatey smooth flavor. I have no problem drinking a couple of these. I never met a Rogue I didn't like. I am having some right now, probably one of my top 4 beers. Great aftertaste.

Pours a deep and dark mahogony color with a frothy yet quickly diminishing tan head. Roasted malt and some coffee in the nose...relatively light body with a nice roasted coffee mocha flavor with a subtle hit of chocolately bitterness. Very solid brew.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark amber with a little creamy tan head. Somewhat smoky, medium body, slightly crisp. Bittersweet coffee and chocolate make for a full taste, finishing with a not so bitter hop bite. A real nice porter!

The mouthfeel is a little light. The coffee notes are perfect, not to weak and not to strong. There are also hints of brown sugar ginger and cinnamon.

Porter muy potente, de olor a café y tostado, sabor café, amargo, dulce, retrogusto a regaliz, cremosa, espuma muy duradera, mola beberla

A glowing opaque brown with robust head of fine beads and large bubbles. Aroma of dark chocolate and berries. Flavor starts dark chocolate, turns to coffee with carmel accent. Smooth and creamy with a nice lingering bitter. One of my favorite porters so far.

Pours a clear brown color, with a medium creamy head. Aroma of mocha and chocolate. Very hoppy and malty. Rich bitter finish.

Very nice color and body for a porter. The coofee flavor mixes nicely with the choclate roast of the malt. Very enjoyable.
