Bottle - Very Dark brown opaque color with a medium dark tan head. Aroma was primarily coffee with a bit of smoke. Palate was smooth and medium bodied. Flavor had less coffee than the aroma, mixed with the chocolate and smoke, but stronger coffee on the finish. I thoroughly enjoyed this porter and I’m glad I bought a six pack.

Dark red with a tan head. A malty blend of smells in the aroma. Also a complex blend of malts is evident in the flavor. The hops seem almost absent to me. This needs something to play off the malts.

Pours a reddish brown with a thick tan head. Nose is very sweet smelling but I’m unable to place it. Very sweet on the initial taste but finishes creamy with a nice coffee bite. Solid, but I prefer my beers a little more full bodied. Very drinkable. Good lacing.

Aroma is of, caramel, bread, chocolate, coffee. Appearance is dark chocolatey colors. Taste of mocha, coffee, caramel, chocolate. Overall a good beer, a little weak on palate, but doesn’t diminish the overall flavors and taste this beer has.

Dark blackish brown with a foamy tan head. Aroma a bit weak and lacking any kind of mocha. Mocha also absent from the taste which was dominated by hops and roasted malt. Mocha finally shows up in the finish, though, which makes for one of the better aftertastes I’ve experienced.

Bottle. Pours black with large brown head. Aroma of coffee (not really strong) and roasted malt. Flavor profile was shorter and more simple than I expected. Coffee and roasted malts. Mouth feel is a little bit thin, but it is refreshing. Goes down quickly, good, but unremarkable.

Bottle, 12 oz. Black with a medium beige head. No lacing. Aroma of roasted malts coffeee, plums, and raisins; flavors of same. A good, quality, coffee porter.

Bottle, choccalate smell, hint of fruit, dark with creamy head, Taste of bitterness and choccalate, not the strongest flavours but real good, medium creamy

Bottle poured a very dark brown color and like the two previous Rogues I've had, the head was disappointingly fast to vanish. Had a good coffee taste with a nice balance of chocolate in it also. I liked it best out of Rogue's honey cream ale, dead guy and this.
