This is a very good beer. I found it to be a bit unique as I’ve never tasted anything quite like it before. A great porter with a definate mocha taste and smell.

Dark brown, almost black, beige head. Aroma and taste: a little watery, mocha, black chocolate. Different. Good.

12 oz bottle. Pours dark brown with moderately lasting tan head leaving some lacing. Dark chocolate and coffee with some floral hops in the nose. Subtle chocolate with coffee and raisin on a well-rounded body framed with well balanced hop flavor & bitterness. Coffee and hop linger. A very nice porter.

Very roasty aromatics with coffee ground scents. Dark pitch black color with frothy head. Burnt coffee flavor is prominent, maybe a touch a dark chocolate as well. Fair amount of bitterness. Full body with a thick texture. Average carbonation with a long and bitter coffee aftertast. This beer is exactly as the name says. Good one.

Bottle. Definete dark roasted chocolate, caramel aroma. Slight alcohol smell as well. Ver little head and almost no lace in the glass.Very dark pour. No light gets through this one. Taste is kinda malty, chocolate, coffee and a touch of rasin. Not as thick as I expected. Has a bitter start to it. And leaves some aftertaste when it’s gone. Overall, not bad. But not one of my favorites.

Nonic glass. Deep black, thick beige head with pretty good lacing. The aroma is chocolate, coffee, nuts, caramel, roasted malts and also some basement and earthy aromas. Taste is chocolate, some coffee, toffee. The coffee flavours make it little bit sour and bitter. The medium and dry body, thin texture, medium carbonation. In overall the beer is drinkable, with some mild coffee aromas and yeasty notes. Solid, but for me nothing that strikes me down.

Bottle. Pours black with a fluffy beige head. Roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate on the nose. A bit more bitter than expected, but balances the chocolate and coffee flavors nicely. High carbonation, but pretty light overall. Smooth and very pleasant to drink.

Nice beer. Slight coffee flavor. Darker than most porters. A bitter aftertaste.
