Bottle. Poured a dark brown color with a large creamy light brown head that was lasting and produced good lacing. Moderate roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Full flavor with a bitter sweet finish of medium duration.

Almost black, the head is mocca, creamy and nice, and it leaves a thick lace. The aroma has wonderful mocca notes. The mouthfeel is average and the flavour has at lot of mocca, sweet coffee and hoppy notes. It might have a bit more complexity, but I suspect that the real problem is, that I love Rogue so much, that I get greedy and simply want more and everything in all their beers... The finish is extremely long, and it has a nice bitterness and a lot of flavour in spite of the only 5,1%. A very worthy beer as my personal rating # 1800.

Dark brown in color with a khaki head. Stale coffee, harsh roastiness, bitter dark chocolate, and coffee grounds. Not a fan of the aroma. The flavor is really no better. Quite bitter with tons of roasted malt and coffee ground flavors. Some bitter dark chocolate, a bit of earthiness, maybe some slight malty sweetness. Meh.

Delicious, Rich, Bold. Had some on tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a black-brown with a creamy beige head. Nose is all burnt malts, chocolate and coffee. Flavor reinforces the aroma, with some sweetness to balance the bitter, roasted malt backbone. Heavy mouthfeel. Smooth and creamy on the finish, this beer leaves a pleasant, rich, bitter, burnt flavor on the palette. Again, delicious.

Deep dark brown color, opague. Brown frothy head. Mocha coffee aroma with a hint of chocolate. Rather thin, but with loads of flavor. Blackcurrant, roasted malt, espresso coffee and chocolate. Long toasty bitter and chocolate finish. Lovely beer that needs more body to be really first class.

Bottled: Dark amber coloured with a reddish gleam. Fluffy brownish head. LAsting and huge. Malt, sweetness, loads of chocolate and light roast notes in the aroma. Flavour has a vague roastyness, sweetness, molasses, and some light coffee notes. Ends on a mild bitterness. Is dry and sweet as well. Quite pleasant beer. Thanks Bück Dich.
