Bottle: Hazy, dark chestnut-amber coloured, small stable off-white foamy layer; dry ashy - almost a bit smokey - nose, spiced by dry red fruits, burnt malt and maybe coffee; dryish bitter flavour, sorrounded by a little sweetness, pretty soft and light to medium bodied; cacao and toasted malt in the lingering bitter-sweet finish. Quite right…

Bottle. Head fades to the edges. Smells amazing. Hard to put down. Really dark, deep red, can’t see anything through it. Taste is really smooth, but the mocha promised in the name doesn’t really come through until the aftertaste (and the aroma). Excellent, and amazing. Top porter.

Dark brown colour, tan head. Very nice roasted malty aroma with chocolate, mocha, a herbal note. Medium body with decent carbonation. Very nice dry malty flavour with mocha, black coffee and hints of vanilla. Very nice.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark black with a thine dark tan head that fades. Taste is of roasted malt, smoke, chocolate, fruit, wood and vanilla. Similar aroma. Has a mostly full body with a slightly dry and bitter finish. An excellent brew that is well worth having again.

Bottle @ Birofilia Festival. Dark brown, almost black, beige head. Absolutely great aroma full of roasted malts, strong coffee, coffee with milk, caramel and milk chocolate. Taste is medium bitter with nice coffee-like sourness. Good moderate carbonation. Silky smooth.
