Pours pitch black with a nice brown head. The nose are very nice, coffee, chocolate and some vanilla sweetness. The flavor is nutty, chocolate and roasted malt. The finish has a good bitterness and some sweetness in the background.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours black, nearly opaque with a small tan head. Smells of espresso, chocolate, roasted malt, and non distinct hops. Tastes of coffee, light chocolate, and roasted malt. Finishes moderately dry with a medium body for style. Decent beer, not my favorite of it’s style.

W aromacie oprócz dość przewidywalnej mlecznej czekolady z lekkimi nutami czekolady truflowej występuje wyraźna oliwa, a nawet suszony pomidor. Dziwne, ale bardzo przyjemne! W smaku już bardziej klasycznie, co nie znaczy, że gorzej: kremowa konsystencja, mleczna czekolada, raczej wytrawne, lekkie i pijalne.

Bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours dark with nice roasted aroma. Very subtle coffee coming through, if at all, but bears a nice roasted porter character. Decent.

Pours dark with a lot of head, arima is subtle at first, then a coffee like note appears. Taste is very carbonated, a sour sensation that evolves in to a hoppy, slightly yeasty aftertaste follows and stays with you.

Poured from a bottle. Chocolate and coffee aroma, better smelled than tasted. Great color, rich dark brown. Small lacing.
