3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Quiver (140) - Augusta, Georgia, USA - AUG 22, 2005Different than expected. I was expecting a real sweet coffee/capichino. It was more of a true english style porter. Starts with a slight roast taste, then throws in a hint of sweetness. Very smooth from start to finish. Nothing like the Rogue Chochlate Stout that I was expecting. Impressed

tastes like a nice beer when you consider depth and overall enjoyment, but I am not getting the mocha coffee flavour. Quite fizzy carbonation. Head stays a while but not too thick. Some flavour of chocolate way back.

Love the strong taste of coffee and chocolate mixed with the more traditional roasted malt. There was also a tates of oats in there and a combination of sweet and bitter in the aftertaste.
