A little smoky, mocha & chocolate flavors. Can’t say anything for the color, I had it out of a bottle at the Beat Kitchen in Chicago during a couple of concerts.

The absolutely example of porter beer. The taste of mocha and a combination of hazelnut is the final feeling. It worths absolutely the taste.Amongst my favourite beers.

Bottle, 355ml. A dark brown reddish beer with a big foamy head. Aroma is of roasted malt, coffee, nuts and some mocha. Taste is bitter, somewhat watery, with a strong finish. Aftertaste reminds me a lot of coffee. There is some carbonation and astringency.

Bottle, 355ml. Dark brown with a ruby hue and a large tan head for this style. Strong coffee aroma with hints of roasted malts, vanilla, grassy hops and wood. Medium to light bodied, some would say watery. Not sweet and practically no bitterness. Rich, toasted malt character, with some pleasant cereal notes. Smooth, and very drinkable.

Tap @ Taphouse, Copenhagen 15/7-14. Roasted malt with notes of coffee, chocolate and vanilla, medium sweet, smooth mouthfeel, full body with an oily texture. The finish is dry and bitter with roasted notes.

Bottle: Hazy, dark chestnut-amber coloured, small stable off-white foamy layer; dry ashy - almost a bit smokey - nose, spiced by dry red fruits, burnt malt and maybe coffee; dryish bitter flavour, sorrounded by a little sweetness, pretty soft and light to medium bodied; cacao and toasted malt in the lingering bitter-sweet finish. Quite right…

Bottle. Head fades to the edges. Smells amazing. Hard to put down. Really dark, deep red, can’t see anything through it. Taste is really smooth, but the mocha promised in the name doesn’t really come through until the aftertaste (and the aroma). Excellent, and amazing. Top porter.
