donteatpoop (112), Youngstown, Ohio, USA May 1, 2008 Poured a nice dark brown with practically no head.
The smell was really faint, I had to really put some effort into catching the tones of this scent. It came off as roasted malts and hops.
The taste, however, certainly made it’s presence known. The hops and roasted malt where there in force, accompanying a nice chocolate/cofee taste. Really good.
Went down smooth. Very well balanced mouth feel, and a nice pleasant burnt hops after-taste.

IPAaLLtHEwAY (93), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Jul 17, 2008 Pours dark brown/ruby color with a tan head that quickly dissappates. Aroma a burnt roasted choco- coffee smell, and something else that I cant quite place. Decently carbonated, moderately flavorful, can be sweet at times, others times complex, sometimes simple. kind of like a women. Decent brew from Rogue.

A pretty good porter. leninthedesert (98), Nevada, USA Jul 8, 2008 Deep coffee and chocolate flavors...lighly hopped and an undeniable sweetness that curls in the foretaste. Although this is not my favorite style of brew, it was pretty enjoyable nonetheless. ucusty (849), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jul 6, 2008 12 oz bottle dark brown pour. slight hints of chocolate, spice and roasted malts
