Single bottle. Poured as dark as youíd expect, with a thin tan head that dissipated quickly but not quite entirely, hanging around to leave a few spots of suds on the glass. Noted a bit of sweet, malty aroma. Feels surprisingly thin and light in the mouth. Bitter but not hoppy, with chocolate as the dominant taste, followed by toasted nuts. Good but kind of ordinary, though perhaps my expectations for this were unrealistically high. Tastes almost burnt, honestly. I can think of a dozen porters off the top of my head I prefer, but thatís not to say Rogue Mocha Porter isnít good or worth trying. Personally, Iím kind of glad I only bought one bottle in a mixed six pack.

Bottle. Clear dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of coffee, caramel, light vanilla notes. (Rogue Mocha Porter) 355ml bottle at home, poured into a snifter, ABV 5.3% Almost totally balck colour on the body, with some deep ruby shades where light manages to cross it through. Small brown head, thin, with okay retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma of light roasted malts, some acidity, chocolate, some floral notes. Taste follows, light roasted malts, some chocolate, nnice bitterness on the finish and the aftertaste. Medium body, nicely carbonated. Quite dry palate. Good porter

Bottle from Seoul Plaza. Aroma chocolate, dark fruits, also noticeable, but undisturbing hops presence spicing things up. Clear dark brown colour, stable beige head. Taste is offering a delicate balance between the obviously American hops flavour and rich dark maltiness. Truly a wonderful beer, easily drinkable thanks to the relatively low ABV, yet full of flavours.
