Cask at GBBF 2013. Pours a deep black/brown with a tan head. Nice aroma of chocolate cake, coffee, vanilla and a touch of spice. Medium body. Chilli is at the fore - very spice with a good chilli heat. The coffee, vanilla and chocolate are there too but I found the chilli almost overwhelmed everything else. OK.

GBBF Day 1. Opaque dark brown beer, little pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with light and fine carbonation. Rich dark chocolate. Tangy dark fruits. Chilli heat, not overdone. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Pretty drinkable for a chilli beer.
