Bomber poured into glass. A simple pleasant Hefeweizen, no big frills. Didn’t really get any floral notes, or that much orange wheat flavors for that matter. It was decent but probably wouldn’t get it again.

Pours a cloudy gold color with a creamy white head. Wheat, yeast and floral aromas. Wheat, floral and honey flavors. Smooth and refreshing finish.

Bomber. Dingy golden with a white head. An aroma of wheat, honey, and flowers is nice. Wheat flavors with that honey. Yeast is tasted and it is mildly acidic. Late in the glass I taste something like smoke. That was totally unexpected. A little spice, too. This is not a great beer and there really isn’t a lot going on in it.

Yellow with a white head. Aroma is wheat, rose petals and vanilla. Flavor is wheat, grain, yeast and roses. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Straw colored beer with fizzy white head that lingers. Nose is a little musty with slight grain scent, but really not much there. Taste is pretty straight forward with light grain up front followed by a light bitterness. Little after taste to speak of. Beer is pretty non-deScript, which is highly unusual for Rogue. I do not taste the rose petals at all. Not the brewery’s best effort.

Bottle. Hazy golden brown, or dark golden, depending on your perspective. Aroma is wheat and light esters, mostly soft fruit but I guess some florals are in here too (I think I’m being biased by the label-- wow, does that granny need some new glasses!). Wheaty palate, again with some esters playing a minor role, with a finish that is slightly tart. Non-germanic wheat beers just don’t impress me. If your yeast isn’t magical, then don’t make a wheat beer.

This beer pours a cloudy golden color with thick white head that sticks around. It has a pretty typical wheat beer aroma but the rose petals really come through in the flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The pour is basically golden yellow with a quick fizzy head that fizzles. The aroma is rather thin but I get a little wheat, grass, and a touch of floral esters. The body is thin. The taste comes off as more bitter than I expected with a kind of acidic quality to it.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, husks), with notes of plaster and lemon pith. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Phew, what a sad, sad beer. As horrible as the Dad’s Malt Liquor was (this isn’t quite as atrocious), I’m starting to think John doesn’t like his parents, or perhaps parents in general. This is really clunky, with no redeeming features whatsoever. Thin, watery, very husky malt, plaster-and-citrus-pith accents, little disappearing head...not even any evidence of the rose petals/water, and certainly not the honey. Rogue can make some decent beers sometimes, but this one is an utter failure.

22 oz bottle to flute Appearance is a light cloudy amber with a thin white head. The aroma is sour with lemons, honey, and nutmeg. The flavour has light sweetness and moderate acidity and a little bitterness in the finish. It's light bodied, thin, and slick.
