2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From bottle. Decent citrus-banana sweet aroma. A bit of rose petal in the nose. Hazy golden amber with white lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts and stays sweet with mild banana and yeast. Watery. Mild rose petal taste.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Split a 22oz with Mom. Poured a relatively cloudy golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus, lemons. The flavor is subtle citrus, with a touch of a rose pedal note. Easy to drink, figured this would be mostly undrinkable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber poured into glass. A simple pleasant Hefeweizen, no big frills. Didnít really get any floral notes, or that much orange wheat flavors for that matter. It was decent but probably wouldnít get it again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a cloudy gold color with a creamy white head. Wheat, yeast and floral aromas. Wheat, floral and honey flavors. Smooth and refreshing finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Dingy golden with a white head. An aroma of wheat, honey, and flowers is nice. Wheat flavors with that honey. Yeast is tasted and it is mildly acidic. Late in the glass I taste something like smoke. That was totally unexpected. A little spice, too. This is not a great beer and there really isnít a lot going on in it.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Straw colored beer with fizzy white head that lingers. Nose is a little musty with slight grain scent, but really not much there. Taste is pretty straight forward with light grain up front followed by a light bitterness. Little after taste to speak of. Beer is pretty non-descript, which is highly unusual for Rogue. I do not taste the rose petals at all. Not the breweryís best effort.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Hazy golden brown, or dark golden, depending on your perspective. Aroma is wheat and light esters, mostly soft fruit but I guess some florals are in here too (I think Iím being biased by the label-- wow, does that granny need some new glasses!). Wheaty palate, again with some esters playing a minor role, with a finish that is slightly tart. Non-germanic wheat beers just donít impress me. If your yeast isnít magical, then donít make a wheat beer.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
This beer pours a cloudy golden color with thick white head that sticks around. It has a pretty typical wheat beer aroma but the rose petals really come through in the flavor.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
The pour is basically golden yellow with a quick fizzy head that fizzles. The aroma is rather thin but I get a little wheat, grass, and a touch of floral esters. The body is thin. The taste comes off as more bitter than I expected with a kind of acidic quality to it.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is medium to dark yellow.
Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, husks), with notes of plaster and lemon pith.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, husky.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Phew, what a sad, sad beer. As horrible as the Dadís Malt Liquor was (this isnít quite as atrocious), Iím starting to think John doesnít like his parents, or perhaps parents in general. This is really clunky, with no redeeming features whatsoever. Thin, watery, very husky malt, plaster-and-citrus-pith accents, little disappearing head...not even any evidence of the rose petals/water, and certainly not the honey. Rogue can make some decent beers sometimes, but this one is an utter failure.
