3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from giant eagle. Sweet malt nose with toffee hints. Pours brown with brown white head. Head lingers. Starts like a medium dark porter and finishes with rice and malt to follow. Very mellow and doesn't bite.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A nice black ale. Pours a deep black with a thick tan head. Smells of rice pudding and French toast with a bit of hops. Taste is quite crisp, with more rice cakes, chocolate malts and a slightly hoppy finish with a bit of a flour-like fizziness on your tongue.

Taste: caramel, some chocolate, sweet bitter hops, little roasted. Aftertaste: bitter, hoppy, bit malty, coffee touch. Not my thing.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Beer Moth, Manchester. Dark brown pour with a fading tan head. Aroma had roasted malt, dark fruit choc and a little spice. The flavour was slightly sweet with more roasted malt, and notes of fruits and licorice. Some vague hoppage lurking in the shadows. Seemed a bit thin. Forgettable and sits on the average side of the street.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
It pours with a thick, brown head. It is dark brown in color. It has coffee aromas mixed with nuts that has a spicy pop to it. The head is uneven and does provide some lacing as it recedes. It has a coffee and nut taste with other roasted flavors.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
650 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG III. Thanks to Benzai! Dark amber. Nose is a bit odd, plain spaghetti / soba, light malt & caramel. Taste is weak, nondescript, soba / spaghetti, touch malt, caramel, faint paint thinner. Med, bit thinner body. Eh, I cannot make up my mind if this is an interesting concept or another one of Rogue’s inexplicable fallacies.
