Jan 21, 2005 Wonderful cloudy amber color, soft light colored head that dissipated rather quickly. Strong hoppy flavor with citrus flavors. Mildy bitter aftertaste. All in all a fabulous pilsner. A little pricey but well worth it.

Jan 2, 2005 I bought a few bottles of this as an accompaniment for a sushi party I was hosting and I am thoroughly impressed by this beer. Pours cloudy. Definitely the favorite at the sushi party.

Aug 11, 2006 A beautiful beer worthy of an Iron Chef. For a relatively strong beer, the flavor isn’t bitter at all, just a delicious beer. Highly recommended.

Aug 27, 2006 Light textured looking midyellow in color with a slight haze to it. Dry crisp aroma to it. Very refeshing bite to it. Light textured and very strong. Perfect balance for a light (strong)beer. The bottle is a keeper! I love the Iron Chef.

Aug 11, 2005 So its a lager not a pils? This was a great beer to end a lousy day. A light hop aroma, it looks really nice - a light yellow on the edges, dark in the middle. I definitely poured into the wrong typle of glass so there was almost no head but I don’t care. Lightly hoppy, with a fair amount of grit, it has a dry but not cottonmouth feeling throughout. Combined with the Uber-pils they make the two best pils I’ve had (far better than those Czechs).

May 10, 2004 Thick head on this, with a nice malty aroma. The hops don’t make their presence known until the beer is in your mouth. This is an idealized pilsner, and totally devastates the traditional examples such as Pilsner Urquell. The ceramic bottle ensures no skuny aromas, and the high alcohol level give this a belly-warming quality I haven’t encountered since Russian piva. It is pretty expensive, which is a shame - as this is a beer that people should be drinking, in large quantity.

Mar 22, 2004 Pours a hazy light orange colour. .
Aroma is sweet, dried apricots, and some light alcohol notes.
Flavor is sweet, golden raisins, candi sugar, spicy bitter saaz notes, and a wee bit of alcohol.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy.
Very tasty, probably up there with the most full pilsners I've had, the only other one I can compare is New Holland Full Circle, but that one uses an ale yeast, the Morimoto has a lager yeast.
Whatever super tasty brew, both of 'em.

Oct 20, 2000 Had this beer at a ’Beer Fest’, understand it is available in the bottle? Very hoppy, very robust, decent malt and hop floral nose.
