First thing that comes to my mind is a great homebrew. It really has that homebrew smell and taste. It’s aroma is full of honey, and great malts. The hop aroma is minor. The appearnce is a honey golden color, with a nice beautiful head. It’s lacing is straight to the bottom. It’s flavor is tangy firstmost, laced with a bit of spice, with a decent amount of wheaty malt flavor, and smome nutty flavor as well. It’s honey is also apparent. It’s very smooth, a great pairing with a dinner or lunch. Excellent session. Although rather filling.

Morimoto Soba Ale Label. Seductive hazy orange hue, fading white head that laces. No carbonation seen through the haze. Natural honey aroma with a little wheat, still its mostly honey to me and the best smelling honey I’ve encountered. Spicy flavor primarily of honey but a wheat taste comes out as well. It’s very yummy, so many tastes even grapefruit makes an appearance. Palate is a little heavy dealing with all the flavor but it works for this beer. A great total package makes this a fantastic beer.

Pours hazy golden orangewith little head to speak of. Aromas reminded me of lambics except not in the sour spectrum. Grain and leather funk on the nose. Palate is alot cleaner and more subdued than the nose portrayed. Seems more of a malt than hop story, dissimilar to the rest of the range. Interesting...

Massive wheaty / grainy / barnyard nose. Very weird but really quite good. Settled palate, almost Bohem pilsner-like. Some old-fashioned malts happening too.

Bottle pours hazy golden/orange with thin head that disipates quickly. Aroma is citruis and wheat. First taste is sweet bread, not a strong hops presence but well balanced. The finish is clean with a little wheat flavor linger. I really like this one.

New label shit? I like this original one better than the new one. This brew was pretty good and definitely unique. Lots of hops and ginger on the nose and flavor, pretty light and drinkable. Refreshing.

Poured from a 22oz bomber labeled as Morimoto Soba Ale and served in a shaker. Some nice lacing was left behind. This beer poured a slightly hazy golden amber with a two-finger thick head of creamy off-white foam that settled into a lasting cap. The aroma of the beer was made up of oranges, orange zest, toasted wheat, and some light caramel. The flavor included bright orange notes, light caramel, some faint lemon, and a strong buckwheat/cereal grain backbone. The mouthfeel was light-bodied and somewhat creamy/smooth. Moderately carbonated. Decent, but nothing to get excited about.

Bottle shared with Timfoolery. Poured an orange color and had a citrus aroma. Thin-bodied beer with a hint of bananas for flavor and maybe a hint of hops. Rogue has done much better.
