Taste is almost macro I was expecting a lot more when I paid almost 3 bucks for a 12 oz. I was hoping for a quality Rogue brew and what I got was this. Live and learn. There might be some grain in there but it doesn’t taste nice. I’m not wasting any more time rating this. timsilvia32 (446), from Michigan now in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

Golden pour, light head in color and thickness. A very little hint of roasted grain of some sort along with light citrus. Finishes clean enough, but very non-descript. Tastes pretty much like any you name it macrobrewed attempt at some sort of summer ale. gkao007 (28), Jersey City, New Jersey, USA

Interesting use of buckwheat but I suspect they didn’t source very good buckwheat.
The buckwheat should be more pronounced for sure.
Will not order again. zappafan99 (462), South Carolina, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Bottle. Hazu golden, pearling carbination off-white cream. Grainy, lightfooted citric aroma. Hayish light nutty malt entry, lemongrass notes. medium to light body, sparkly mouthfeel. Citric aftertaste without any sticky resin.
Refreshing and just what I needed after my run around Elk&Beaver lake :-) Heathen (795), Riverside, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 6, 2008 THOUGHTS: Seemed rather British. It was different, but not something that improved the world of beer.
TECHNICAL: Bottle (Asian art version). Poured a hazy, dark yellow to light orange with a small, white head that mostly diminished and left fair lacing. The aroma was moderate toasted malt, flower and herbal hops and light fruit. The initial flavor was lightly sweet, light to moderately acidic, and moderately bitter; while the finish was light to moderately sweet, lightly acidic and moderate to heavily bitter with an average duration. There was toasted malt and some citrus lemon along with some herbal hops and maybe a touch of honey but also some metallic hops. The light to medium body was a little dry with fizzy carbonation and a metallic and light to moderate astringent finish. nramsburg (200), New York, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Tasty and citrusy aromas after a deep yellow-ish pour. Good size head. Continues with the citrust (I would definitely lean towards an Orange) taste and slightly creamy on the palate. Not bad at all, but definitely not worth the inflated Rogue prices.
