Pwn3d (1040), Manhattan, New York, USA Jun 23, 2008 Morimoto Soba Ale. Palate is crisp and smooth. Flavor is orange peel, some bitterness. Didnt notice any alcohol. Actually similar to Yuengling, but with a nicer palate. I really like these Morimotos so far. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Jun 22, 2008 ABV: 4.8 %

Smells alright with hints of grain and tastes and malt. Dont think I will have this one again. jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Jun 11, 2008 650mL bottle labeled Soba Ale. Pours slightly hazy orange body with small white head. Aroma is slight hops. taste is smooth. kidmartinek (972), austin, Texas, USA Jun 8, 2008 Golden ale. Good carbonation, lots of bubbles. 3/4" foamy off-white head. Barely cloudy. Doughy, wooden malt aroma. Very slight, metallic taste, though it came in a bottle, must be left over from the brew kettle. Otherwise good malty flavor that’s not too thick. Nice bitter finish. Nice zippy palate. Crisp, and drinkable. posikyle (165), Alabama, USA Jun 5, 2008 One of my favorites. Pours a beautiful gold color with a thick, dense head. Has a nice light flavor (without being condescending) and crisp finish. One I could pound back all day. Soonah (900), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA May 30, 2008 On tap. The pour was a slightly cloudy amber and gold in color. The head was white, relatively thin and only spotty lacing was created. The aroma was lots of malt with some sugary sweetness and light nuttiness. The flavor was lots of malt and some honey. Light nuttiness and citrus noted as well. The mouthfeel was thin in body and the finish was a tad long. Just OK, really no interest in drinking again. elihapa (1033), Honolulu, California, USA May 30, 2008 1/12/08 notes: Pours a pale golden-amber. Coming from Rogue, I had high hopes, but I really couldn’t find anything interesting about the palate or flavor of this one. Nothing jumps out at you. Light body, matched with a light flavor that featured grass and faint skunk. To be honest, just a little better than American Macros. Didn’t do it for me.
