Jun 27, 2008 Japanese label. This cloudy orange ale poured with a thin frothy head and a floral aroma. There is a nutty malt flavor with some citrus taste and a thick bitter finish.

Jun 25, 2008 (22 oz bottle at home on June 25, 2008) Labeled as Morimoto Soba Ale. Rogue seems to have made an effort to hide the "Rogue" name from the label. Poured a slightly foggy orange into my pint glass with a heavy frothy head. Steady, slow, heavy carbonation. Nose reminds me of… incense… oh, that’s because i’m burning incense - never mind. Will have to re-rate the aroma when I have a clear nose. Wait... here we go... smells sweet and fuity. Taste almost reminds me of a pilsener. No, wait, second sip reminds me of a light, grained ale but with the body and palate of a thick pilsener. Finish is much like a lager.

Jun 23, 2008 Morimoto Soba Ale. Palate is crisp and smooth. Flavor is orange peel, some bitterness. Didnt notice any alcohol. Actually similar to Yuengling, but with a nicer palate. I really like these Morimotos so far.

Jun 12, 2008 22oz bottle. Just did not like this beer. Its like if sake was a beer. Smells alright with hints of grain and tastes and malt. Dont think I will have this one again.

Jun 8, 2008 Golden ale. Good carbonation, lots of bubbles. 3/4" foamy off-white head. Barely cloudy. Doughy, wooden malt aroma. Very slight, metallic taste, though it came in a bottle, must be left over from the brew kettle. Otherwise good malty flavor that’s not too thick. Nice bitter finish. Nice zippy palate. Crisp, and drinkable.

Jun 5, 2008 One of my favorites. Pours a beautiful gold color with a thick, dense head. Has a nice light flavor (without being condescending) and crisp finish. One I could pound back all day.
