Bottle purchased in Wyoming 9 months ago and stored at fordest house. Very different in flavor. Some wheat like grains, or was it urinal cake? Litteraly gaged on the aroma.

This beer started out really nice. Its like buckwheat pancakes, with maple syrup, and I love it. However that quickly fades and you get this bitter citrus tastes which isnt too appealing.

22 oz bottle labeled as Morimoto Soba Ale thanks to padrefan. Amber/orange pour with decent white head. Aromas were some citrus hops and notes of light fruits and bread. Flavors were similar with a strange bitterness that I couldn’t place as hops. Some spice and graininess on the finish. Interesting, but not spectacular.

Unclear amber of color with a weak off white head. An aroma of hops, bread notes, fruity, apples and caramel. A flavor with bread and hoppy notes.

gold pour with a 2 finger white head. malts and dry hop scent. flavor is pretty bland but there’s definitely some kind of spice in there or something. definitely not a fave for me.

Not the best offering from Rogue. Pours a muddy orange like color, small amount of head and not much lacing. Aroma is hoppy and sweet and pretty appealing. When I drink this I feel like I’m drinking a watered down orange, grapefruit juice. Not a beer. Mouthfeel is thin, flavor again is orange, grapefruit like and a little sweet. Quite sour as well which lingers into the aftertaste. Nothing I’m going to get again.

This is weak. Listed as morimoto soba ale. Pours a corny golden color with a small to medium sized white head. Nose is cardboard, wheat, some lightstruck, Taste is corny, bread like, and a bit bitter. Very basic and pretty bad.

Morimoto Soba Ale. Nice golden color. Light and crisp throughout the drinking experience. Decent flavor. Doesn’t do anything wrong, but nothing makes it really stand out. I would have this again with a light dinner.
