Consumable but it seriously reminded me of a much lesser beer via the appearence. Wheaty grassy with some notes of light fruit and light citrus.

Small taster at Rogue Ale House, San Francisco, 23rd Feb 2008. Light amber in appearance with little aroma. Bland taste and a soft palate. Inoffensive but uninspiring.

This beer looks almost like a light beer, but thankfully has a decent aroma and flavor profile. The smell is of grain and the taste belies this. Short finish. The taste though is crisp and refreshing despite nothing really standing out.

Very average to me. A bit of nut flavor followed by some malt. I expect much more from Rogue. Their other beers are superb though.

old rating: 6/3/7/3/13 - 3.2 ƒ-23-2008) pour is a hazy yellow-orange with heavy carbonation, a small white head, and good lacing. smell is of grain, some citrus, a little wheat, some hay, a touch of citrus, dusty, and malt. taste is oily, somewhat sour, orange peel, grain, malt in the malt, a little wheat, a little bitter, and some nuts, ends a little creamy, and a little bitter.

22oz bottle from trade with ketchepillar. Light gold with orange highlights and a light creamy head. Musty aroma from the yeast, imho. Some roasted grain and bread in the aroma too. Crisp bitterness with a bit of grassy hops. Light body, almost watery. Light flavor. Not quite what I expected. Easy to drink. Would be a great lawnmower beer.

Bottle. Pours very pale yellow with a big white head. Sweet aroma with wheat, hops and caramel. Light body, but very clean and smooth. Flavor is sweet and wheaty, with notes of caramel and a bit of hops. A very easy drinking but underwhelming beer.

Pale golden in color with a large head. Pale smell and taste as well. Light hops aroma with some hops in the taste as well. A very light pale ale more like a lager. Soba is interesting I am not sure exactly what it adds.
